There’s something truly special about a wedding that feels both grand and intimately personal. Maddie and Alex’s big day at Convict Lake in Mammoth, California was just that—It was the place where they fell in love and for Maddie, it has ties to many family getaways. I was stoked to be a part of their story, capturing the intimate gathering of friends, family, and the adventure that is intertwined in their love for each other.
From the quiet moments of getting ready to the joyful “I do’s,” every part of their day was filled with a sense of fun and love. The wedding ceremony took place outdoors surrounded by towering aspen trees and mountain views in every direction. It was the perfect backdrop for their vows, creating a space that felt both epic and personal.
The reception was held under a beautiful white tent, with tables thoughtfully decorated with colorful flowers by Red Lily Floral Design that added a lively pop against the rustic wood tables and the subtle blue runners.
