Capturing Connor and Maggie Harrison’s wedding at the San Diego Museum of Art in Balboa Park was everything and more!
The art nerd in me was freaking out!
Getting to document a wedding is one thing, but doing it at a museum with a couple who are thoughtful about their fashion choices, to genuinely into the work of various eras of painting, was for me a ‘these are my kind of people’ moment (we kept it together, though!). I vividly remember the moment after the shutter snapped each time, realizing the gallery was going to be special and how happy it was going to make them. There were no bad photos taken that day. haha
The whole day felt like a dream from the venue, to the beautiful architecture and artistic vibes. It set the perfect stage for the aesthetic of the day and the overall vision these two had.
Speaking of vision! SD Weddings by Gina is a true pro when it comes to adding intentional design to a space and making it look and feel elevated. From the stunning stationery, to the carefully arranged floral bouquets by Native Poppy, every detail was thoughtfully curated to reflect the couple’s sophisticated taste.
